Release notes - April 2025: Easy Flow and Contracts

Written by Pierre Dahlman | Apr 15, 2025 11:56:49 AM

We’ve just rolled out a fresh batch of updates in Starlify. Designed to make your daily flow a little smoother, a little smarter, and a lot more intuitive.

New features ✌️

Expandable search is here (and smart toggles are out)

Let's say goodbye to Smart Toggles and replace them with something better. Now, you can click “Expand” on a node to see its closest connected nodes. There is no need to fiddle with "smart" toggle settings or guess what might appear. Even better, you can expand multiple nodes simultaneously and save the view in a node formation. It just makes more sense.

Easy flow with contracts

You can now create and place contracts and contract links directly in the graph – making it easier to show how systems are connected without having to define all the services, references, or endpoints immediately.

It’s a clean and lightweight way to represent agreements between systems – perfect when you want to map intent without going into every detail (yet).

And we’re not stopping there – in an upcoming release, you can also attach, e.g., BIR tables to contracts. That will open up a whole new level of structure and insight.

Toggle presets

We’ve added four ready-made toggle presets based on common tasks and stages in your integration work. You can jump between them as you like or set up your toggles like before. These presets give you a quick starting point depending on your work, whether you’re mapping, analyzing, or refining.

Bug fixes

We've squashed a few pesky bugs to make Starlify run smoother than ever! Here are some of the things we fixed:

  • Search tags now display in four rows with a scrollable list. You can also clear all tags at once with the trash icon.
  • A few minor but helpful bug fixes to keep things running smoothly.

Coming Soon 🚀

We'll continue to push for better interaction in our upcoming releases, among other features.
